The H-type chicken cage is a modern battery cage system increasingly adopted in today’s poultry farming industry. It is most commonly used in closed chicken houses due to its superior space utilization and efficient design. Compared with the A-type chicken cage, the H-type is better suited for large-scale poultry houses, such as layer farms housing 25,000 or more laying hens. While primarily designed for layer chickens, H-type cages can also be adapted for broilers and chicks, making them a versatile solution for different poultry production needs.

The H type layer chicken cage is designed for laying hens from 18-20 weeks to about 72 weeks. The H type layer chicken cage is a fully automatic system including the automatic drinking system, automatic feeding system, automatic manure cleaning system, and intelligent environmental control system.

The H-type broiler cage features a vertically stacked structure for efficient space use. Unlike layer cages, its bottom net remains flat, and it uses cup-type drinking systems to accommodate chicks. Each tier includes a manure collection system, ensuring cleanliness and promoting healthy growth. The design supports uniform weight gain and standardized breeding outcomes.

- A spring-loaded front cage door or a fully opening front cage door can be chosen.
- A movable apron and net can adjust feeding height that will adapt to the growing stages of chicken.
- The back cage door can be fully opened which makes the chicken harvesting much easier.
- There is an enhanced supporting frame under each tier of the cage. There will be no sagging of the bottom net.
- The cage has also adopted the hot-dip zinc galvanizing process to anti-rust and extend the service life.
